It keeps you updated on information you need to know for the coming days and weeks of school for your child, so I highly encourage all parents and guardians to read it. I also want to direct your attention to the section of the newsletter that contains our grade level newsletters. HPMS Early Schedule Pickup is tomorrow, Wednesday, July 16th from 8:00-11:30AM. Please register your student in advance if you haven't already done so at https://www.anderson2.org/page/registration-information . Please note that all returning ASD2 students must be registered for school each year, and all new-to-the-district students will have schedules prepared once their information has been processed. We hope to see you tomorrow!

Just a reminder, all ASD2 students who need to ride the bus must be registered as a bus rider for the 25-26 school year! Even if students previously rode the bus, they must be registered to ride each school year. Please complete the bus rider form by using this link https://tinyurl.com/ASD2buses or by scanning/tapping on the QR code below. Please complete this as soon as possible to ensure bus transportation is arranged for the first days of school. This can also be completed through the registration process. If you have more than one child riding the bus, a form must be completed for each child. Thank you!

Early schedule pick-up will take place on Wednesday, July 16th at HPMS from 8:00AM-11:30AM. Online registration must be completed and fees paid before students will be given their schedule early.

The HPMS Office will be closed starting tomorrow, Friday, June 13th until Monday, July 7th. Summer office hours will resume on that date, 7:30AM through 4:30PM, Monday through Thursday. Those hours will continue until July 17th with normal hours resuming the following week. Thank you, and have a great summer!

Congratulations to Mrs. Jillian Candler who won the Conservation Teacher of the Year award for the Anderson County Soil & Water Conservation District! Mrs. Candler advanced environmental and conservation education at HPMS through the school clean up program, pollinator habitat program, composting, and school garden.

HPMS Football Meeting: Monday, June 9 at 6PM in the cafeteria. Every student who plans to play football for HPMS next year needs to attend. All athletes will need an updated physical to play. If you have any questions or concerns, please contact Coach Parson at baparson@asd2.org.

HPMS Volleyball summer workouts will take place Mondays and Wednesdays from 9am to 11am starting June 2nd. Girls who are interested in participating must have current sports physicals. Official tryouts will be August 1st. For more information, contact Coach Nathan Turner at nturner@asd2.org.

Tomorrow is the FINAL DAY of STATE TESTING at HPMS! 6th Grade students will take the SC Ready Science Test, and 8th Grade Algebra I students will take the Algebra I End-of-Course Test tomorrow, Tuesday, May 13th! Our students have worked hard each day of state testing, and we are looking forward to great day tomorrow! Students, be present, be on time, come prepared with a fully charged Chromebook, and be ready to give your best effort! Go Cubs!
