On Tuesday, March 17, our HPMS Concert Band, comprised of 27 7th- and 8th-grade students, performed at Dorman High School for the SCBDA's annual Concert Performance Assessment.

They earned an Excellent rating overall, with all A's and B's on every scoresheet!

Additionally, they received a Superior rating from one of the stage judges - the first time HPMS has earned this as an independent ensemble! We are so proud of these students and Director CiGi Curry!

Tomorrow, Friday, 3/6 is Hat Day at HPMS! Students can pay $1 to wear a school-appropriate hat for the day at school. Students can pay their homeroom teacher who will give them a wristband to wear throughout the day. All proceeds go to our March of Dimes initiative!
