On the 25th anniversary of 9/11, please join us in remembering the nearly 3,000 lives lost on that horrible day as well as the incredible bravery of first responders and everyday citizens. Here at HPMS, we took a moment to pause and reflect as an entire school at 8:46AM this morning as this was the same time the first plane hit the first WTC tower on that day. Additionally, social studies classes will be sharing lessons about 9/11 throughout the day. May we never forget.
HPMS Football will take on Riverside this evening (9/10/26) at HPMS! This game will start at 6PM rather than our usual 5:30PM start, and the gates will open at 5:15PM. Additionally, please note that the cost for each guest is $7 per person. Go Cubs!
Cub Volleyball will take the court this evening against Belton and Palmetto at BHP High School! The tri-match begins at 5:30PM, and gates will open at 5PM at BHP. Admission is $7 per person, and you can pay cash at the gate or use this online option for this match:

Friday, 9/4 will be Hat Day at HPMS! Students can pay $1 to homeroom teachers to receive a wristband that will allow them to wear a hat on Friday. All proceeds will help HPMS ProTeam students raise money for Disabled American Veterans. For every $250 raised, HPMS gets 24 American flags to display in a "flag garden" at HPMS the week of Veteran's Day. All donations raise critical funds to support services for veterans in need and their families. All hats worn must be school-appropriate and non-disruptive. Additionally, if students would like to contribute to this cause but not wear a hat, that is fine as well. Donations of any amount are greatly appreciated, and hat day will take place each day throughout September to raise money for this cause.

1. Pictures are prepay only.
2. All students will have their picture taken for the yearbook.
3. If students do not purchase, they will receive a proof to take home, and parents will have an opportunity to order online only.
4. Students must be in dress code.

Good afternoon! Tomorrow, Wednesday, August 19th, students will take the fall diagnostic test for math! The purpose of this test is to measure your student's current knowledge of the math standards. It is so important that this data is accurate, and the best way for us to have accuracy is for students to give an excellent effort. Please remind your student to bring a fully charged Chromebook and their absolute best effort tomorrow. Our students worked very hard on the ELA test on Monday, and we are looking forward to another great day of testing tomorrow. We greatly appreciate your support from home! Have a great evening!

Tomorrow, Tuesday, August 4th will be our 2026 Open House/Meet the Teacher Event 2026 - 2:00 pm to 6:00 pm!
This will be a drop-in style registration and meet and greet. Please enter using the main entrance at the front of the school! Check-in after entering the main building, pay fees (cash or check only), and get schedules! Tour the school! Meet the teachers in their classrooms! 6th Graders and newly enrolled students receive Chromebooks! We hope to see you there! Go Cubs!
